.............................................................................................................For this first post, let me introduce myself: I'm Salomé Maisonnoire, the French home decor lover behind @thepinkbohemian who, in the middle of the pandemic, decided to explore the world of eclectic home decor and create an Instagram page dedicated to it.  Interior Eccentric was born!

Let's go back in a bit. I grew up in the French country side (yep, English is my second language) before moving to Montréal, Canada in 2010. In my childhood home, art and interior design were very much a family affair. My mom, a trained interior designer, owns a home decor store back in France and I grew up surrounded by artists and art and antique furniture dealers. 


These influences as well as my passion for colours, Indian prints and rich patterns are reflected in the decor of my home in Montreal. 

Over the past 3 years, the Interior Eccentric's Instagram page has become a rendez-vous for lovers of everything fun, colourful and eclectic. Our ever growing community of Interior Eccentrics never ceases to amaze me: the amount of creativity you guys show is simply mind-blowing and definitely deserved a whole blog so here we go! Hope you enjoy it as much as I do...
